I began my journey as a wedding styling assistant and was offered a position editing images for a reputable wedding photographer shortly after.
During this time, by request I designed unique chalkboard signs for weddings, thus opening my eyes to the next chapter in my life. After 3 amazing years editing, I took the leap and opened my own business ‘Love La Rire’ as a full time sign writer, whilst assisting Pretty Willow on the side. I created bespoke chalkboards for weddings, birthday, cafes, the works!
I loved my job and enjoyed experiencing all the new and wonderful moments that came with it. I even had the opportunity to collaborate with my colleagues and bring to life my very own magical wedding day. However, as it is with the wedding industry, I watched the themes evolve from rustic to boho to industrial, leaving sign writing in its wake. Despite this, I cherish this time in my life. Having featured in many wedding blogs and even publishing my own is a career highlight I won’t soon forget.
I am thankful for everything I have learnt, for the person I have become and for the more creative outlook I now have in life.
